PART ONE - pieces DELIVERED TO YOU FROM A MAD-HAT DREAM KNITTING MIND.

The infamous Van-Dam, a piece of Aus I have not yet ventured, but have wished to get to know for as long as I can remember.

Welcome, if you’re new to my kaleidoscopic travel windows, and hello friends returning to see what’s new.

I don’t paint what’s in season, nor on trend.

I create wonderland windows of intrigue through colour as an expression of excitement, from adventures yet to be had, in places I haven’t met.

An never-ending world of shapes & colour, etched with countless layers of paint.

The pieces unfolding within this pre-travel series have so far been inspired by:

• classic melodies from the simplistic retro eras of yesteryears

• air hand surfing against the wind out the window, tracing fields as they race on by

• jagged cliff faces, terrifying in shape yet somehow seem misunderstood

• oceanic highways that begin from pebble shores alive with unexpected colours that intrigue

I could go on… but where’s the fun in that?

Let’s see where this journey of my abstracted weave of Tasmania and it’s beauty I’ve yet to explore all plays out on canvas.
